Raised near the outer banks of NC, Colin’s interest in IT, as well as good quality hip hop, started in the mid 90’s and continues to this day. After traveling around the US he settled in Charlottesville in 2012. Though this was meant to be a temporary stop, he fell in love with the area and at this moment would not want to live anywhere else. Shortly before moving to Charlottesville Colin landed an IT job at Musictoday in Crozet VA where he worked for 4 years before leaving to join NWG Solutions in Aug 2016. He has held positions in various levels of IT for manufacturing, ecommerce, retail, and service based organizations. Colin spends his free time hanging out with friends, binge watching shows, and enjoying the food and beverage scene in central VA. He is also quite fond of random facts, has a love hate relationship with the city of Atlanta, has never seen a full episode of the Simpsons, and won’t leave his house on New Years Eve.
What’s the best part of your job?
Doing something different every day, learning from others, and exploring areas of the community you may not otherwise visit.
When you’re not at work, what’s your favorite thing to do for fun?
I’m at the beach, or try to be, otherwise I’m usually relaxing, grilling, watching sports, or taking in some live music around town.

Huge Bjork fan, also really like the movie Beaches.
